A dedicated group of local volunteers with deep community involvement who share a passion for the game of basketball and who care deeply about the growth and development of our youth. We have decades of experience working with Boca Hoops (as division reps, coaches and referees), and many have also coached at the high school and college level. And we are nostalgic Boca Hoops alumni--motivated to provide our children and community the same memorable experience that Boca Hoops gave us!
Co-Founder & Board Member
Brian is a proud Boca Hoops alumni and coached his 3 children over the past 9 years. Brian’s father was a Boca Hoops founding sponsor and coach, and now his son Jake is a Boca Hoops coach and High 5 volunteer (that’s 3 generations of coaches). Brian moved to Florida in 1981 and graduated from Saint Andrew’s School ’93, where he currently serves on the Board of Directors. Brian is a commercial real estate developer, but prefers to be snowboarding when he isn’t coaching.
Todd has been an active coach in Boca Hoops, SABR, and Boca Little League since 2012, dedicating over a decade to youth sports in Boca Raton. Todd’s 3 boys played Boca Hoops for 10 years, and now Todd and his oldest son both volunteer for High 5 Basketball. Beyond coaching, Todd is a congenital cardiologist at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and has worked diligently to help secure hospital sponsorship and support for youth sports organizations in the Boca Raton community and beyond. Todd graduated from Saint Andrew’s School a really long time ago.
Adam has lived in Boca Raton since 1981 and has participated and coached in Boca Hoops, SABR soccer and Boca Raton Little League. After graduating from Pope John Paul High School, Adam was a member of the wrestling team at Boston College. Adam is a real estate attorney, but look for him courtside for the Miami Heat where he also works as an official scorekeeper.
Both Jimmy and his wife Alexandra are proud Boca Hoops alumni, coaches and sponsors. They also coach Boca NFL flag football and sponsor SABR soccer. Jimmy was born and raised in South Florida, is a former Pope John Paul basketball player, and currently runs his family's produce business, a staple in the community for over 30 years. Don’t remind Jimmy that he lost to Brian in the Boca Hoops Championship back in 1990.
